I created a piece a year or so ago for bass clarinet and vibraphone. I was searching around for some kind of visual narrative that would suit it, and I thought, “Space”! As I often do.

The interesting thing about this piece of music is that it’s constrained to a limited set of pitches. Can’t remember off the top of my head, but I believe it’s 5 notes. I actually break this self-imposed rule exactly one time. See if you can hear where that is…
